The Albritton Companies

The Albritton companies include Benny Albritton Grove Service, Inc. and Benny Albritton Citrus, Inc. The founder, Benny Albritton, is a third generation citrus grower and caretaker. The companies' headquarters are located in Hardee County. With two field offices, one in Wauchula, and the other in Indiantown, we provide services to clients throughout the entire citrus belt. We provide complete caretaking for over 7,000 acres, as well as contract spraying of 12,000 acres an d contract Temik application for 25,000 acres.

Because of long residence in the heart of the citrus belt, we have become very familiar with the geography of the area, soil types, climate trends, etc. This type of experience allows us to offer top quality service to any and every type of grove situation. We, as well as all subcontractors, comply completely with all Department of Environmental Protection, Superund Amendment & The Reauthorization Act of 1996 (S.A.R.A. title III), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations. This provides protection to our clients, our employees, our environment, and our business. We fee our life-long experience and our knowledge of the agriculturally related legislation give us and and advantage especially in the near future when these attributes well be even more essential for proper grove management.

Our founder and President received his formal education in citrus and business. He has owned and operated the caretaking business for over 25 years. His older son, Ben, a graduate of Florida Southern College with a BS in Citrus Production, is the Production Manager and Vice President. Benny's younger son, Joe, a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in both Finance and Risk Management, is the Treasurer and Controller.
